Acronym : MED-P-P01605 This will be an original piece of work that demonstrates the ability to undertake an investigation into an issue relating to Clinical Education. Entry Requirements? Pre-requisites : None other than the programme entry requirements ? Co-requisites : Students must be registered on the e-Masters Programme in Clinical Education ? Special Arrangements for Entry : An on-line, virtual, or E-learning environment has been chosen for the delivery of all courses on the MSc programme. Teaching, learning and assessment takes place in an electronic environment known as the Forth Suite. This has been developed by the CMVM specifically for on-line post-graduate courses and allows interactive visual, audio, textural and graphical modes of communication, in the same synchronously or asynchronous event, and will accommodate programs such as WebCT. After completing the MSc in Clinical Education, an individual will have sufficient knowledge to:
- Describe and discuss contemporary theories and issues in Clinical Education, at a national and international level. - Recognise, evaluate and make an appropriate response to the governance and policy associated with Clinical Education. - Exercise a critical appraisal of situations and circumstances pertaining to Clinical Education. - Recognise, reflect upon and respond to their own educational needs and the needs of others. - Take a lead responsibility in Clinical Education within their own professional area. A Thesis of approximately 15000 words will be required. This will be an original piece of work that demonstrates the ability to undertake an investigation into an issue relating to Clinical Education.
