Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course the student will:
- Understand the significance of communicable disease as a public health issue - Describe the principles of surveillance, investigation, control and prevention of communicable disease - Describe the practical applications of communicable disease control and prevention work, including the role of vaccination. - Describe the epidemiological features and other important features of certain specific infections or categories of infection which underpin the practice of communicable disease control Assessment Information
