Soil Protection and Management (P00692)? Credit Points : 20 ? SCQF Level : 11 ? Acronym : GEO-P-EPMSPM This course begins by considering methods for evaluation of soil and land quality. The following sessions deal in more detail with maintenance and improvement of various aspects of soil quality such as soil fertility, soil structure and physical condition, and soil biological activity. The course will be of interest to students who are concerned with protecting land resources from inappropriate use and the restoration of these resources through sustainable management practices.
