*Geography Small Research Project is normally only taken where a student is unable to attend one of the fieldwork foundation courses because of special circumstances which have been approved by the Special Circumstances Committee in Geography.
** Geography courses are allocated through a bidding system.  Entry to Geography course of first choice is not therefore guaranteed. A booklet giving details of appropriate course combinations will be given to students to facilitate advance planning
† Entry to third year normally requires successful completion of the first two years of the curriculum with marks of 50% or higher in two Geography second level courses at the first attempt.
