This course will discuss topics in contemporary analytic aesthetics, including forgery, aesthetics of nature, photography and film, the pleasures of tragedy, art and morality, humour, music.
NB. This course is a repetition of Aesthetics (PP0082)given in Semester 1.

To develop further the philosophical skills, and to extend as well as deepen the philosophical knowledge, acquired in previous philosophy courses.

Assessment will be by 2-hour examination in the May diet. Senior Honours students doing the dissertation in Philosophy must write a long essay (approximately 5000 words) in lieu of the final exam.
