Acronym : HCL-1-EcH1.2 This course examines the growth and development of the British economy between 1500 and 1900. It examines the early demographic, agricultural and trading changes within the economy, the technological bases of the Industrial Revolution, and the implications of the Industrial Revolution for living standards and Britain's changing position in the world economy. - Student-led seminars are intended to develop the presentation and verbal skills of participating students.
