Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

At the end of the course, students will be able to:
- understand particle size distributions and calculate mean particle diameters from particle size distribution data
- describe and explain the operation of the solids processing equipment covered in the course
- apply the physical principles underlying the behaviour of particulate materials to equipment and processes not explicitly described in this course
