At the end of the course, you should have a comprehensive overview of the physical processes operating in the solid Earth and its core, and understand the principles of the geophysical techniques by which this information is derived.
You will have gained practical experience and understanding of geophysical survery techniques in the field and how observations can be interpreted. You should be able to write a scientific report including reference to previous work, and understand the role played by new observations and an assessment of their errors in the process of scientific inference.
