Acronym : BMS-4-MEclinemb Aim: To provide basic descriptive account of development of human conceptus between fertilization and birth, covering pre- and postimplantation period. Topics will include: gametogenesis, pre-implantation development, placenta formation, establishment of 3 germ layers, development of heart and vascular system, body cavities, diaphragm, alimentary, urogenital and neural systems, face and skull. Entry Requirements? This course is not available to visting students. ? Pre-requisites : Permission of the Curriculum Approval Officer. ? Co-requisites : Developmental Biology 3 and Reproductive Biology 3 are recommended.
