Acronym : EEL-4-MNOPM This course addresses some of the issues facing operations managers in modern manufacturing, such as facility location and layout, scheduling, simulation and job design and work measurement. It aims to develop the student's qualitative understanding of these topics along with a competence in some of the quantitative planning techniques used in manufacturing. It also seeks to develop an appreciation of the role of quality management in a modern manufacturing enterprise.
