Physiology 3 (U01212)

Selected aspects of physiological processes in health and disease: from the integrative function of single cells to whole systems physiology. Topics will include: cell and epithelial physiology, ion channels and their regulation, cell signalling and cellular communication, neuroendocrinology, sensory physiology, respiratory physiology, control and co-ordination of movement, development.

Entry Requirements

? Pre-requisites : Normally, Human and Mammalian Physiology 2 and Genes and Gene Action 2. Neuroscience with Pharmacology 2, The Dynamic Cell 2 and Biometrics 2 are recommended.

? Costs : Students should provide a lab coat, notebook and marker pen.
