Pharmacology 3 (U01197)? Credit Points : 20 ? SCQF Level : 9 ? Acronym : BMS-3-PHA The course studies the mechanisms by which drugs act at the molecular, cellular and tissue levels. The relationships between these actions and the overall pharmacological effects and clinical uses of the drugs are explained. Entry Requirements? Pre-requisites : Neuroscience with Pharmacology 2, Human and Mammalian Physiology 2 and Genes and Gene Action 2. Biometrics 2 and The Dynamic Cell 2 are recommended. ? Costs : Students should provide a lab coat, notebook and marker pen.
