Biology of DNA Viruses (U01009)? Credit Points : 10 ? SCQF Level : 10 ? Acronym : BMS-4-MI08 DNA viruses are a disparate group of viruses which exhibit a range of replication strategies and which induce a range of clinical symptoms. Theses range from inapparent infections to fatal diseases. This topic will compare the strategies used to replicate the virus genomes and to control expression of virus genes. The evolution of DNA viruses will be discussed as will the spectrum of diseases caused. Entry Requirements? This course is not available to visting students. ?
