Zoology Project (U00743)

? Credit Points : 40  ? SCQF Level : 10  ? Acronym : BIO-4-ZOProj

The course comprises a major research project in one of the following areas of zoology: parasite biology, animal behaviour, evolution, evolutionary ecology, systematics, and developmental biology. A wide range of projects is offered and students are also encourage to submit their own proposals. Projects are allocated in Semester 1; work begins in Semester 2 (January) and proceeds until thesis hand-in (May)

Entry Requirements

? Pre-requisites : Permission of the Curriculum Approval Officer.

? Co-requisites : Honours Project Literature

? Costs : Students should supply a lab coat, notebook and marker pen.

? Contact Teaching Time : 24 hour(s) per week for 5 weeks

? Additional Class Information : No scheduled hours, work as appropriate for the project
