The Biology & Control of Malaria (U00702)

Malaria remains one of the world's major causes of ill-health and premature death. The module will cover the life history of the malaria parasite in relation to disease; methods of control, both by chemical means and by vaccination; and the biology of the mosquito vectors and their control.

Entry Requirements

? Pre-requisites : Permission of the Curriculum Approval Officer. Normally Parasite Biology 3 is required or concurrent attendance at Arthropod Biology.
