Evolutionary topics that are particularly relevant to zoology, such as phylogenetic analysis, evolution of developmental mechanisms, selection and adaptation, co-evolution and co-speciation, and major evolutionary transitions. Throughout, there is an emphasis on how modern biologists investigate these topics
