Management Planning Project 5 (U00453)

This project is intended to enable the students to view a project through its entire life cycle, and be able to produce a project execution plan. The project should develop creative thinking as well as working in multi-disciplinary teams.

? Pre-requisites : Only available to MEng students in the discipline of Civil and Environmental Engineering

? Contact Teaching Time : 10 hour(s) per week for 2 weeks

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

This course is intended to:
- encourage questioning and creative thinking;
- develop skills in problem identification and solution development;
- opportunity to work in inter-disciplinary teams;
- develop skills of completing work on time and target;
- further develop presentations skills.
By the end of the project the student should have:
- improved planning skills;
- improved communication skills;
- a better appreciation of project planning issues;
- an appetite for innovative engineering solutions, and planning.
