Acronym : EEL-4-CVPCP Project Management is the application of management principles to develop an optimal plan; to make a budget; to put in place controls and procedures; so that the work can be executed to schedule and within budget to specified quality and safety standards. By the end of the course the student should be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the stages of a project and the principal players within and without a project; - Analyse a project and produce a plan and a schedule of resources requirements, and carry out limited optimisation; - Demonstrate an understanding of quality and safety in a project and the importance of the leadership role of a project manager.
