Acronym : EEL-4-CHPRJ Final year project activites in chemical engineering, other than design case studies and projects, are covered by this course. There will be a number of small handin exercises relating to practical design of chemical processes and plants, together with a study project which consists of a literature survey, a self-study module or an experimental or computational investigation related to a research topic. The study project may contain elements of more than type of activity under these heading. Any research work is expected to be of relatively modest scope. As part of the study project, students prepare and defend a poster on the subject of their work. Entry Requirements? Pre-requisites : Chemical Engineering 3A, Chemical Engineering 3B, Chemical Engineering in Practice 3 ? Co-requisites : Chemical Engineering Design: Projects 4 Subject AreasHome subject areaChemical, (School of Engineering and Electronics, Schedule M) Delivery Information? Normal year taken : 4th year ? Delivery Period : Full Year (Blocks 1-4) ? Contact Teaching Time : 3 hour(s) per week for 15 weeks ?
