This includes basic tools related to fluid mechanics, heat transfer and combustion. The objectives of this module are to introduce the student to the discipline of Fire Safety Engineering, therefore this module can act as an elective for students from other disciplines. Basic knowledge necessary to study Fire Safety Engineering will be provided. The student after this module will be ready to undertake studies in Fire Safety Engineering as well as having a clear understanding of the gals of the profession.
