On completion of this module the student will:
(i) be capable of conducting a wind resource estimation and be knowledgeable regarding methodologies for resource assessment and sources of uncertainty (ii) understand the basics of wind turbine design and operation (iii) understand mechanism for integrating wind energy developments into the electricity generating and distribution network. A grade will be assigned based on performance in three assignments on different components of the module content.
