Catchment Hydrochemistry (P01947)

? Credit Points : 10  ? SCQF Level : 11  ? Acronym : GEO-P-ENVGCH

Monitoring and predictino of ater quality within catchments requires an integrated understanding of environmental chemistry and hydrological processes. This course explores the interaction between hydrology and environmental chemistry and controls on hydrochemistry at the catchment scale, especially the effect of land use on water chemistry. The course then moves on to examine methods of quantifying water and solute fluxes in catchments and applying these to the assessment of water quality and diffuse pollution.

Entry Requirements

? This course is not available to visting students.
