Neuroinformatics Research (P01836)

This course is a survey of current research in Neuroinformatics in Edinburgh, intended to introduce new students to the Neuroinformatics community and expose them to potential Neuroinformatics PhD research projects. Each week covers a different research area, led by a guest lecturer working in that area.

Entry Requirements

? This course is not available to visting students.

? Pre-requisites : Only for students enrolled in the Doctoral Training Centre in Neuroinformatics.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

After taking this course, students should be able to:
- Demonstrate a knowledge of current research in areas related to Neuroinformatics.
- Formulate and express ideas for novel and feasible future research in Neuroinformatics.
- Read and critically evaluate primary sources in Neuroinformatics.
