The aim of this module to to develop generic research skills that can be deployed in academic or commercial environments.
Student will demonstrate their ability to develop interesting concepts and hypotheses into research proposals.

Students will be able to:
* Critically evaluatate research literature appropriate for their project subject
* Use existing research literature to justify experimental design choices.
* Develop a structured research proposal.
* Discuss research proposals with particular reference to key hypotheses and methodological approaches.
* Outline project/research management issues.
