This course will examine topics in what has become known as moral psychology. These will include issues of motivation, intention, strength and weakness of will, free will, moral development, self-deception, and conceptions of the self. Although the approach will be, at base, philosophical, we shall draw on some of the relevant social psychology literature. Shared with UG course Moral Psychology U00164.
