International Business and Emerging Markets (MSc) (P01137)

This course introduces students to core concepts in international business and their contextualisation in emerging markets. The course covers trends in FDI, entry modes, geography of international production, export orientation, M & A activities, technology transfer and IP issues and the growth of the service sector.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

Students will develop an understanding of the specific features of international business in emerging markets and relevant theoretical frameworks for analysing I.B. activity and the policy implications for host governments.
