Operational Research in the Airline Industry (P00720)? Credit Points : 5 ? SCQF Level : 11 ? Acronym : MAT-P-ORAI This module will address real world applications of Operational Research in the airline industry. Two specific problems will be discussed, crew scheduling and yield management. Crew scheduling is the problem of the optimal use of crew and flight attendants. It can be formulated as a set partitioning problem, which requires sophisticated combinatorial optimization techniques to solve efficiently. Entry Requirements?
