Management of Biological Resources (P00714)? Credit Points : 20 ? SCQF Level : 11 ? Acronym : GEO-P-RMMBR The term 'biological resources' covers a very wide range of resources from global systems such as 'tropical rain forests' down to genetic material of potential use in plant and animal breeding. How should these resources be managed? There will be several field visits where the practical considerations of resource management for different purposes will be discussed. As part of the assessment we will construct a Web site for the course, each student contributing a Web page covering a different aspect of the subject. Suitable for any students with a basic grounding in ecology and an interest in conservation and management of resources. Entry Requirements?
