Human Resources Management (P00710)? Credit Points : 20 ? SCQF Level : 11 ? Acronym : GEO-P-RMHRM Human resource management is a key determinant of success in organisations both large and small. The areas covered by the course will include stakeholder analysis, time and task management, participatory appraisal, presentation skills and knowledge transfer, leadership and delegation, team and meeting management, negotiation, selection interviews and co-operative action. The emphasis of the course is very much participative and opportunities for applying these HRM skills are afforded through a collaborative project presented by participant teams at the end of the course: methodologies, leadership and management styles, effective communication and case presentation, the art of negotiation and other related topics.
