Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes

Students will become acquainted with literary-historical developments of the period and with appropriate tools of literary analysis. They should emerge with an appreciation of the uniqueness of each of the writers studied and with some degree of overview as to how they relate to each other.

Assessment Information

Essay of 2000-2500 words [50%]; degree examination (one question to be answered in one and a half hours)[50%]
