Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
To acquire an advanced knowledge and understanding of a rich and complex field of enquiry;
to construct coherent arguments which demonstrate an awareness of the problems posed by the texts and issues studied, and an ability to analyse them closely in French; to discuss the issues raised in suitably sophisticated and formal French, both orally and in writing; to engage in personal research under the guidance of the tutor, and offer evidence of research initiative.
