Issues to be addressed include: point of view, character and voice, structure and plot. Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Students who complete the course successfully will attain a broadened awareness of stylistic possibilities in prose fiction. By practice they will develop compositional skills and critical self-assessment in a way that complements more general English studies, and be introduced to the possibilities of publishing their work.
