Acronym : PPL-4-CN-PS Drawing on previous years knowledge of brain -neuroanatomy and cognitive function, this series of lectures will examine the role of the neuropsychologist in a hospital setting. - Students will be familiar with the problems experienced by patients recovering from brain damage.
- Awareness of any differences in recovery as a function of age at the time of injury onset. - Familiarity with at least two well known case studies drawn from the clinical and psychological literature. - Awareness of the effectiveness of at least three kinds of rehabilitation interventions.
