A student should:
1. Understand the strengths and limitations of TCAD software. 2. Increase understanding of IC process technology and device operation. 3. Understand the effect of process variability on SPICE parameters. 4. Be able to demonstrate how process variability affects circuit performance. 5. Understand the effect of layout on chip yield. Assessment will be based on the following components:
