Early Irish Texts 1 and 2 (P00401)

? Credit Points : 40  ? SCQF Level : 11  ? Acronym : LLC-P-P00401

The Introduction to Early Irish teaching programme consists of two complementary strands. In Early Irish Texts 1 students are given a basic grasp of the grammar of Old Irish which prepares them to study and understand edited texts written in Old Irish. In Early Irish Texts 2 students are taught how to negotiate the Old Irish handbooks with confidence, and to read and work with a wider selection of Early Irish texts. Although each strand is largely self-contained they are mutually reinforcing and are meant to be taken simultaneously.
